OXYGEN, by Ivan Vyrypaev

Back by popular demand, this unique play, set in modern-day Russia, is essentially a live concept album; the audience is guided through the evening by an onstage DJ. There are ten tracks — scenes that are constructed like prose songs.

With Esther Williamson, Mark Krawczyk, and Dan Crane as the DJ.

Directed by Lise Bruneau and Chris Curtis

With original music by:
E. D. Sedgwick
The Caribbean
The Gena Rowlands Band
Jupiter Rex
Electric Blanketland

Opening night is also a record release party! Y’all come.

Performed at the Capitol Hill Arts Workshop
545 7th Street SE WDC 20003

April 5 — 26, 2013
Wed — Sat at 7:30 pm, Sat matinees at 2:00pm

Tickets $15, or $25 for your ticket and a 10-song album

Ivan Vyrypaev is a playwright. That's why I am pretty sure that a lot of people will love "Oxygen" because of its components. I heard that the actors who will be part of the play were good; so this is another factor to consider that's why I will book my schedule for this. Hopefully, it will never disappoint me because I have high hopes on the plays that I watch. I always look forward to be impressed by the plays, especially if it has an international screening!

I dream in technicolor and live in vibrant, over-saturated HD. I am more than just an actor. And I am more than just an internet profile... But then again...aren't we all?
